We use all available technology—including GIS mapping, the world wide web, and the electronic distribution of materials—to increase General Plan quality while also making the preparation less expensive and easier to distribute.
PMC’s environmental staff, with direct experience preparing the environmental analysis of General Plans and other large-scale public agency programs, prepares complete and legally adequate examinations of General Plans / General Plan Updates. Our programmatic EIRs address all required topics and provide decision-makers with crucial information regarding the consequences of plan implementation. Following General Plan adoption, PMC specializes in updating the Zoning Maps and revising Zoning Codes to make it both more responsive and consistent with the general plan and easier to read and administer.
