CDBG and HOME Program Technical Assistance
PMC has provided technical assistance to the County for its state-funded CDBG programs and projects over many years. Efforts have included program guidelines, record-keeping and documentation, file organization, and compliance policies and procedures.
PMC has also managed several state CDBG and HOME grants for the County, including grants for housing rehabilitation, farm worker housing construction, infrastructure construction, and technical assistance.
PMC assisted the County with grant compliance, including monitoring the County’s HOME-financed housing units and compliance with federal wage and working hours (Davis-Bacon) requirements.
PMC drafted the County’s CDBG Revolving Loan Fund Guidelines for small business assistance.
HOME and CDBG Grant Writing and Grants Management
PMC has successfully secured and administered several HOME grants for the Monterey County Housing and Redevelopment Agency, including a $1 million HOME grant for the Boronda Farmworker Housing Project.
PMC has also prepared a variety of CDBG grants for Monterey County, including Planning and Technical Assistance, General Allocation, and public infrastructure grants. Recently, PMC wrote a successful grant for $300,000 in foreclosure prevention assistance and $515,000 for housing for developmentally disabled adults.
