PMC managed a large planning effort that updated the County’s short-range transit plan for six public transportation systems operating eight distinct bus services. The plans are required as part of the transportation planning process to secure state and federal funds and ensure consistency with other local transportation infrastructure efforts. Surveys of transit and non-transit riders, stakeholder input, technical analysis of bus transit services, financial assessment, and recommendations were provided to help guide transit development over the next five years. The plan was prepared within the framework of financial constraint while meeting performance efficiency goals and standards.
