PMC redesigned The Town of Danville’s site to be more dynamic, visually attractive and easier for the public to use. The site’s design reflects the town’s small town ambiance, while capturing the natural beauty of the surrounding area and quaintness of downtown. The site takes full advantage of the Ektron CMS 400.NET, utilizing:
- Custom menu layout with sub-options fading in on hover
- Google map showing event, transit, retail and other locations
- Tabbed homepage panels for quick access to multiple topics while keeping the page short and clean
- Calendar of events with filter by type, repeating events, and multiple calendar views.
- Local weather forecast with icon pulling from a third party site
- “How Do I” Mega-menu for common requests
