    Project Management for Reuse of 850-Acre Area

    South Fremont/Warm Springs

    Serving as Project Manager focused on reuse and economic revitalization of the vacant 5.5 million square-foot former NUMMI/Toyota automotive manufacturing facility and surrounding lands in an 850-acre project area.  PMC prepared, submitted and successfully secured Federal Economic Development Administration grant funding to support a series of studies related to the project site.  Overseeing a varied team of consultants and City staff (involving the City Manager, Planning, Economic Development, Engineering/Transportation, Redevelopment and Finance Departments) evaluating marketing/real estate, land planning, infrastructure and municipal finance issues.  The work includes extensive outreach to local and state agencies, the community and project area stakeholders, and assisting the City in completion of a Redevelopment Plan and Community Plan for the South Fremont/Warm Springs area.
